Presenters are expected to provide relevant information to their audiences. The most effective presenters also help their audiences consume the information in stages, providing a progression of thought and/or exploration into greater detail. Animated reveals of information on slides is a great way to control your audience's attention and educate/provide information in stages. Another technique is highlighting.
This month's charts of the month show how a less used, but equally effective, highlighting technique might add interest and uniqueness to your slides. The third slide shows how an outline might be used to highlight.
