This is a variation on a stock chart in the PowerPoint chart gallery. The bars are actually 20-point lines that can be formatted easily with different colors. If you need to place a lot of lines within the chart, reduce the line point size to make more room.  The values are not formatted to appear. Let the value axis and gridlines provide the values.

When you place this chart into your template, it will take on the default setting in your template. Refer to the tutorial for this series, the FAQs and best practices for data-driven charts, and the feature article for October 2006 for more information on uses and formatting.

Range charts show a beginning and ending value in relation to a value axis. Typically the range charts do not display numerical values, but rely on the grid lines associated with the value axis to illustrate values.

The charts will assume the default settings in your company's presentation template when they are imported. Refer to the tutorial for this series, the FAQs associated with working with data-driven charts, and the best practices for information on how to use and format these charts.
