Tutorial for Timing 007 – Break Timers

Using Timers

This series is a great tool when meetings are long and breaks are needed. The break timers are an animated page that is placed into your presentation at the point where you want to take a break.

The example to the right is animated to change every couple of seconds so you get an idea of how the timer appears on the screen. The downloadable timers are set to change at 60-second intervals, as they should be.

Customizing the timers

Adjust size

Select all and size together. the fields need to overlay each other in order to work.

Color variations

Select all the fields and change fill and line colors together.

3D variations, shadows, gradients, patterns, and pictures

If you apply these effects, apply it to all fields. See the graphic below for an understanding of how these series are constructed and work.

These series are preanimated. When the timer page comes up in the slide sequence, click once to set the timer in motion. Don't click it again until it runs through the times unless you want to stop it and go on to the next phase of the presentation.
