Dashboard Series

The next time you need to produce multiple slides that provide dashboards, consider using this type of layout. The "tabs" at the bottom of the slide are an excellent way to immediately convey the topic being discussed and where the presenter is in the order of topics. These tabs are great visual prompts.

The tabs also provide a sense of continuity from slide to slide, because the content of each dashboard will probably not be the same. This is a good tactic to "bind" information together that isn't necessarily consistent.

Format the tabs any way you wish, but consider keeping them at the bottom of the page. That way, your audience will not have to look at each full page of a handout to get to the topic under discussion.
