These frameworks show objects springing or radiating from a main object (the oval at the bottom). The shape also suggests a fan and can be used to illustrate that concept as well.

You can use these frameworks as a bullet alternative in some cases. They work well to structure an agenda page and then, reduced in size, function as a tracker.
