Ribbon Flow 041

Pivot Ribbon Arrows

Pivot Ribbon Arrows example of possible use

These ribbons are a nice departure from horizontal or vertical flows. The ribbon arrows can be used in two different ways:

  • Place text or graphic image at turning point of ribbons to represent a pivot point (e.g., activity, obstacle, restriction)
  • Use to show successive steps.

There are four downloads in this series: 2 vertically oriented flows and 2 horizontally oriented flows. The red downloads are formatted with gradients, and the green downloads use different hues of the same color without gradients. It's important to vary the colors of these ribbon flows so that the elements of the flows are distinct.

Refer to the tutorial for more formatting tips.
